Super Slings are designed to make transfer, lifting and positioning easier, especially for caregivers!

The real benefit of the Super Sling for members of the More of Me to Love community is that it allows a group of only 3 or 4 to lift anyone off the floor who is upwards of over 600 pounds.

Before the super sling, lifting a 500 pound person off the ground, who had fallen, was a challenge and a safety concern. We have reports of people trying to use bed sheets, but those would tear and they didn't have reinforced handles for gripping. This could lead to more injuries, whether the fallen person slipping back down or the lifters injuring their backs.

But not so with the Super Sling!

The Super Sling comes in two versions, with either 8 or 12 handles, and allows multiple people to lift one other person with safety and ease. And if watched the video above you can see that it's kind of fun, too!

Instructions for Use

1. Position the Super Sling behind the fallen person.
2. Scoot the fallen person backwards on the Super Sling until s/he is positioned with her/his tush in the center of the Super Sling.
3. Position an even number of people on either side of the Super Sling, each taking two handles.
4. Position someone in front of the Super Sling to take the fallen person's hand and to ensure that s/he is raised safely.
5. Simultaneously lift the handles, slinging the fallen person into a standing position.
6. Hug the fallen person, now standing, so that s/he understands how grateful you are that s/he is now safe.

In case of emergency, every fire station in America should have the Super Sling. This would allow firemen to lift a larger person who had fallen down. It is an essential tool.

The Super Sling is made from a low-friction nylon, which allows for easy movement across all surfaces. It's durable, comfortable and safe!
