These amazing and unique Extenders are designed to fit nearly all vehicles.*

How Do I Choose the Right F-Series Extender?

Follow these two steps to find the right F-Series Extender:
1. Measure the width of your seat belt's metal tongue to the 32nd of an inch according to this image.
2. Select your F-Series Type in the Options section below based on that measurement and this image.

*Notable Exceptions to the F-Series Extender

Though the F-Series Extenders fit nearly all cars out there, there are some notable exceptions. If you followed the directions above then you may have noticed that your car's metal tongue is not exactly like one of the F-Series Extenders. The following list includes certain exceptions of which to be wary. If the statements are true, follow the appropriate links. (Please note: this is not every conceivable exception, and we cannot guarantee that we will provide the necessary cautions in this list - we are just doing our best to minimize the need for exchanges).

1. If you need an extender for a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury, please click here.

2. If you need an extender for a GM manufactured between 1968 and 1999 that has the classic, silver, GM buckle that is 1 5/8" wide (width like the F-6 but not shaped the same), please click here.

3. If the width of the metal tongue you are trying to extend measures exactly 1", please measure the length of the hole in the metal tongue. If the length of the hole is 15/16" (23mm) then it is very likely that you need a Cruiser Extender. This is especially worth double-checking if you have a GM Vehicle manufactured since 2005. 

4. If you are looking for an extender for the back middle seat of your vehicle, please note that this is the most difficult location in a car to fit an extender. The metal tongues are often shaped differently here. A common problem is the Big Top, whose metal piece at the top of the hole is unusually longer than the seats around it. We cannot fit a Big Top, though sometimes this is confused for the the Cruiser Extender.

5. If the width of the metal tongue you are trying to extend measures exactly 1" and has 2 holes, one rectangular on top and one square below, you have The Block. The Cruiser Extender works in The Block 85% of the time.

6. If the width of the metal tongue you are trying to extend starts at 7/8" but then widens out to 1" at the base of the hole in the metal tongue, appearing as though it has little shoulders like this image, you have the pear.

7. If the metal tongue of the seat belt you are trying to extender is shaped like an arrow - I mean, it really comes to a point - and is 7/8" wide, we do not have an extender that will fit. This is most common in Acuras.

8. If you have one hole in the metal tongue of your seat belt and it is a perfect circle, we do not have an extender that will fit.

9. If you have one hole in the metal tongue of your extender, and it is shaped like a shield, you have either the Type C, in which case you should click here, or the Coaster, in which case you should click here. A Coaster shape found in Honda's cannot be accommodated by any seat belt extender.

Exchanges & Returns

Returns are easy at More of Me to Love. If your Seat Belt Extender doesn't fit, you may exchange it for another type or return it for a refund of its purchase price. To make it simple, an Exchange/Return Card comes with your extender - no Return Authorization Number required!

Please note: other companies do not allow you to return your extender at all. They'll even make you pay for the shipping on your exchange. But not us! We will gladly take back an extender that you don't want/need, and we never make you pay extra for us to re-ship you your new belt - we'll send your exchange back out on us!

Safety First

Our Car Seat Belt Extenders are safety tested through a random testing process and can withstand a metal break strength of 14,700 N, the equivalent of approximately 3,305 pounds. At the levels tested, the Seat Belt Extenders held their intended position and were not deformed by the force. The Federal Motor Vehicles Standards related to safety testing, article 209 (FMVSS 209 - Seat Belt Assemblies) discusses the process of safety testing and states that "The structural components in the assembly that are common to pelvic and upper torso restraints shall with- stand a force of not less than 13,345 N." This means that at the levels tested, More of Me to Love Car Seat Belt Extenders exceed the FMVSS required metal break strength.

Also, our Seat Belt Extenders have a webbing break strength exceeding 32,443 N, which is equivalent to a webbing break strength of about 7,293 lbs. This means that a force of at least 7,293 pounds can be exerted onto the web of the Extender and it will not break or tear. According to the FMVSS 209 - Seat Belt Assemblies "The webbing in a seat belt assembly shall have not less than the following breaking strength when tested by the procedures specified in S5.1(b): Type 1 seat belt assembly [full 3-point seat belt system] — 26,689 N; Type 2 seat belt assembly— 22,241 N for webbing in pelvic restraint and 17,793 N for webbing in upper torso restraint." In other words, our Seat Belt Belt Extenders with any kind of webbing or extension material exceed the requirements for pelvic restraint and upper torso restraint. 

If the extender does not buckle into your belt securely or you have trouble with it, please do not drive with it. Please return it to us, and we will issue you a refund.
