I'm not a big woman, but I have no doubt that more women - big or small - need to read this book. the great poems and beautiful illustrations demonstrate an understanding of the cultural struggles that bigger women face but breeze over them with their amazing and uplifting sentiments. It's very fun and makes an excellent book for personal inspiration or leaving on your coffeetable for others to pick up and glance through. This should be required reading for high school girls, college women and adults, at least in every women's studies course. (Posted on 8/27/09)
